Wisconsin wolf hunter receives death threats

Wisconsin hunter Dennis Nitz successfully harvested one of the first four gray wolves taken in the state’s historic season, which opened Monday. Within minutes after posting photos of himself with the 72-pound wolf on Facebook, he said he started to receive death threats. “It’s a pretty wild topic,” Nitz acknowledged. Paul Smith, outdoors editor with the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, has the story.
